If, for whatever reason, you donโt already own DOOM on every platform under the sun, Amazon has just given you another opportunity to add the godfather of FPS games to your collection.
As part of Septemberโs Free Games with Prime lineup through Amazon Luna, if youโre a Prime member, you can now claim DOOM + DOOM II completely free for GOG.
How to claim DOOM + DOOM II for free
DOOM + DOOM II became available to Prime members on September 10, and unlike Lunaโs set of rotating cloud games, claiming this actually gives you a GOG copy to keep forever and ever, DRM-free.
Once youโve claimed the offer through Amazon, hit โClaim Codeโ and youโll be redirected to GOGโs redemption page.
From there, simply select โContinueโ, sign in to your existing GOG account, or create one if you havenโt already, and redeem the unique code.
Youโll need to get that done by November 13, 2026, so while thereโs no huge rush, I probably wouldnโt leave it sitting around until the last minute because if youโre like me, youโll just end up forgetting and missing out.
The enhanced DOOM + DOOM II package on offer includes a whole host of additional content, including TNT: Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment, Master Levels for DOOM II, No Rest for the Living, Sigil, Sigil II and Legacy of Rust, alongside a new 25-map Deathmatch pack. Altogether, this equates to a pretty ridiculous 187 mission maps and 43 Deathmatch maps.
There are upgraded visuals, controller support, quick saves, an in-game mod browser, and online cross-platform co-op, too, so if you did want to dive in for a cheeky tenth playthrough, you can tweak things for a bit of variety.
All of this normally costs $9.99 on GOG, so getting the whole lot for nothing as part of an existing Prime subscription is a decent win.
